    Apply early! Don't forget to fill out your fasfa. Price match your books if you're getting them from the bookstore, or better yet- use the ULM bookswap facebook page. Take advantage of the library and staff, everyone is kind and willing to help. Don't be afraid to be yourself. Join clubs- or even better, start one.

    If you are having a problem in a class, don't be afraid to ask your instructor/ professor. Most of the professors are willing to help you if you let it be known. Join something on campus, anything!
