Around Town

The mall in Monroe is great. There's great dining and shopping in Monroe and West Monroe. Can get a little boring if you're broke though.

There are so many clubs to get into that if I began to name them all, I'd literally fill the whole page. There's so much that can be done on campus.

I go to the activity center. There are zumba classes, a pool, basketball courts, exercise machines. If not the activity center then there's almost always some kind of activity going on with organizations on campus.

ULM offers lots of activities, which are offered through the Campus Activities Board. Also, the area in which ULM occupies allows for multiple celebrations that are not offered anywhere else, like Mardi Gras.

There is a Bowling alley, skating Ring, Movie Theater, a mall, or you can hang out with friends at the local bar.

Absolutely nothing but listen to music, sleep, study and hangout.

You can go kayaking on the bayou

There are many things to do for fun at ULM. The activity center always has many nice people where you can make friends and enjoy activities. There is a tennis court, outdoor workout place near the colluseum, and a huge library.

Any student can go canoeing on the bayou for free. There is an indoor swimming pool on campus, as well as a gym that offeres a variety of work out classes daily. There are also tennis courts. The student organizations put on different events all the time.

Swimming, Running, working out, and exercise classes
