I've visited the campus more than once, and have fallen in love with the college. It's perfect for me, because its close enough to big cities like Austin, however, it is set in a small town.

Absolutely amazing pre-engineering program, the entire staff has been in the industry for at least a decade and the head of the engineering department has worked for NASA for ten years Students have many opportunities for internships. After their third year in UMHB, the students are going to be transferred to Baylor in Waco with general knowledge of engineering to allow them to transfer between majors without a backdrop in credits.» Read More

The campus offers so much for its students, especially if you are a nursing major like me. The campus is beautiful even though it is small, but it is a private school with 3,000 kids.
