I've visited the campus more than once, and have fallen in love with the college. It's perfect for me, because its close enough to big cities like Austin, however, it is set in a small town.

    Professors are very helpful and eager to help you. Athletics is important to this school. It is a small close knit christian school.

    In all honesty, this school has been a complete blessing! The campus is small, the students are friendly, and the classes are very engaging. The cost is well worth the personal involvement this school puts into your education.

    Absolutely amazing pre-engineering program, the entire staff has been in the industry for at least a decade and the head of the engineering department has worked for NASA for ten years Students have many opportunities for internships. After their third year in UMHB, the students are going to be transferred to Baylor in Waco with general knowledge of engineering to allow them to transfer between majors without a backdrop in credits.

    This college is great because everybody knows everybody and everyone is looking out for each other. Because the school is small students have more of a bond with their professors, which makes us feel important. Also, the campus is absolutely beautiful and the environment is conservative.

    The campus offers so much for its students, especially if you are a nursing major like me. The campus is beautiful even though it is small, but it is a private school with 3,000 kids. The college's Christian affiliation is nondenominational which makes it comfortable for students who follow another religious view.

    I cannot wait to attend this school next fall! Their preview weekend illustrated how close-knit this Christian community really is. The faculty cares for the individual student and there is plenty to do at UMHB.

    Overall I love the feel that this school gives me. Unlike bigger universities UMHB's professors get to know you on a one on one bases. However, in my opinion there tuition price does seem to increase to often.
