I think for as low as the price is (compared to others), the professors are absolutely amazing and you will get a good education. At the end of the day, that's the most important thing.

I'll say education wise UMW is definitely worth the money but as far as social life or having a real university experience yeah not so much.

The price tag is high at about $5,000 for full time students, without pricing for possible dorm, books, food, parking pass. Parking can be hectic, plenty of faculty members park in the student areas making it almost impossible to find parking for the students. I have had times where I was looking for parking for about 20-30 minutes because most of the spots were taken up by faculty. But when you park in a faculty lot you get fined. When telling the administration about this situation they do nothing about it because most professors have tenure. You go in to some intro level (100 level) classes and are expected to know what you are doing about the subject within a few weeks.

The cost for UMW is not all that high compared to most colleges and the college provides quite a bit of financial aid if needed. For me, I earned enough financial aid and scholarships that I didn't have to pay for the entire first year of my college.
