It is a great college - large enough that there are plenty of research resources and materials, but with caring staff and faculty that provide individual learning support.

University of Maryland Baltimore County is a small commuter school. If you are looking for a party school, this is not the place to go. However, it is an honors school and their academics are fairly rigorous.

A fantastic student-oriented university determined on helping their students succeed. UMBC has an incredible academic track record. Skilled and passionate professors makes for a learning experience that truly prepares you for your career.

This school is very challenging in order to make students the best they can be. The professors, for the most part, are attentive and want you to do well. There are so many resources to help you succeed, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

My experience at UMBC for the past two years has been wonderful! I've enjoyed the diversity within the student population as well as the challenge in the academics. The professors are well-selected and are well-versed in their content areas.

It's a nice school with good professors, and people are generally friendly. Transportation is a little bit inconvenient, but not if you have a car.

UMBC is a very good school, academically, this school will kick your butt if you are not organized however. Organization is key, I cannot stress that enough, organization can be the difference between a passing student and a failing student. This school is hard, but when you pass the class with an 'A' a since of accomplishment is felt.

It has a fairly small campus and most of the professors care about our education. It is NOT a party school; they are hard to come by. There are lots of helpful services.

This is an extremely diverse university with students of many backgrounds and great variation of interest. Campus life is what you make of it. If you study hard you will be successful.

UMBC is full of innovation, creativity, and strong leadership. With the BWTech Research Park close by, new and inspiring ideas come out of UMBC all the time. Also, the president, Dr. Freeman Hrabowski, is a very influential man and has pushed UMBC forward to new places.
