Nice campus, though not the traditional scholarly buildings. Very walkable, and the classrooms look amazing.

This is a great school! I love the campus and the atmosphere; I have heard nothing but great things about it! My brother currently attends and I am considering attending myself next year when I graduate high school in June.

UMBC is a school that is extremely diverse, intelligent, and different from many of the other college campuses you will see. It is a school truly dedicated to education and the excitement of learning. If you are ready to work and be in a professional setting, UMBC is a great school for you.

UMBC is a great school especially for STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) majors. Classes and professors are tough but very interesting. Overall, it is a great school.

The school is a good school that balances our education with your social life. Although they don't have a football team, their intramural teams are good to join for any student who wishes to take part in sports. Also the clubs and organizations are excellent; wish future students the best of luck.

UMBC is an accredited honors society that has a very diverse and welcoming community. Our STEM (sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics) problem is our strongest feature, but we also have numerous opportunities for students of all disciplines to expand their skill set and conduct research in their chosen field with professionals. We have a strong commitment to encouraging research through programs such as URCAD (undergraduate research and creative achievement day).

A great academic school with a mediocre campus life and a community college feel. UMBC is one of the best value schools out there for STEM majors but has a lack of university feel. It feels very much like a community college.
