I think that UMBC is an excellent school; it has great academics and an excellent environment. The students and faculty are focused on quality education, no matter what field they are in. The campus is nice, though small and not much of a party school (not that that's a bad thing), and there is a lot of diversity, and everyone seems to get along well for the most part.

UMBC is a college of diversity and opportunity. Not only are you able to find a community of people who are avid about the same things in which you find interest, but you are also able to enhance your own academic and social knowledge through the inherent variety of courses and clubs offered. The campus may be small and somewhat isolated, but once you find your niche, you will truly feel a part of a family that only hopes to see you grow and fulfill your vision.
