There's SO much to do on this campus. If you ever catch yourself saying you're bored, you're not looking hard enough. Seriously, something is always going on.

As soon as you get on campus, look in to joining a club that is related to your interests. All of them, and I mean all of them, have social events outside of the club, and they are an awesome way to meet people and make friends. The Greek life on campus is also awesome, and I would definitely recommend that everyone at least give it a look, but its definitely not everyones cup of tea.

There are many activities on campus to get involved with no matter what your interests may be. You have clubs, games, or just hanging out with friends. If you want to venture into Washington D.C., take the metro.

There's always some sort of event going on at the campus. Lounge on the mall on a nice day, go to a party in the dorms or with the frats, or study in your choice of library. The campus itself also offers useful services such as workshops for resume building, internship workshops, the all-nighter which is filled with evens at the union, Maryland day, and various events on the mall.

There are hundreds of organizations on campus, and you'll probably sign up for half of them at the fall first-look fair. There are service groups, theatre groups, religious groups, club sports, and things you would never even think of making a club for. There really is no lack of extracurriculars to get involved in. Beyond those, the student union regularly has little workshops and things, the student event council hosts movies and brings performers to campus, and there are always flyers for cool things posted all around campus. We're also right be DC and on any day you can catch a free bus to the CP Metro station, pay a few bucks, and end up pretty much anywhere you like. The national zoo, all the museums, chinatown, and more are all within easy traveling distance and are always fun ways to spend your weekends or days off.
