At the University of Maryland, you learn so much more than just facts and truths from textbooks and lectures. While the classes are extremely informational, and the professors and T.A.s are all very knowledgeable on their subjects, the real learning goes on outside of the classroom. Their are countless non-credit lectures, shows to attend, research teams to be a part of, professors to work with one-on-one, and relationships to be made which will help you mature into a worldly human being.     UMD is a great state school. It is a a large community where it is still easy to find your own niche. There are endless opportunities available to everyone who attends the university or is affiliated with it.

    UMUC offers online classes which is highly beneficial to a working parent. The website is 99% of the time available save maintenance time, and the resources offered are phenomenal. If you ever run in a problem, you can always chat with someone who can help and follow-up in the future.

    The University if Maryland College park is an excellent school, but it is very difficult. However it is a great place to get a great education and meet new friends. also, most of the teachers are very nice.

    The campus is beautiful and everywhere you look there is someone representing their school pride. The campus is huge, but once you know it well it seems smaller. The Honors College program is spectacular!

    A great place to learn how to stick to your guns. With the large amount of people, it is easy to experience a variety in your social interactions, and yet is quite easy to isolate yourself as well. The knowledge the school offers is practically unlimited as long as you are willing to put in the work.
