Go to town! Quaint little town but still fun.

There are many things to do. Amherst is a great college town that has great shops, restaurants and bars. There are plenty of club sport opportunities and there are plenty of our door things to do. Amherst has a l ot of great hiking spots.

Apart from focusing on school, academics, internships, and other educational factors, there are multiple things to do at UMass Amherst. You can go to the athletic events/games, events held by all sorts of clubs and organizations from the university, shop at the mall, head to town, join a sport team, join an organization/club, and many other things. Almost every day, whether it's the weekend or a weekday, there is always something happening on campus; it's all in the matter of looking for them. Along with the events being a great experience, they also give the students an opportunity to meet at one place to either catch up, or meet new people. It's a way for everyone to come together and connect, instead of constantly talking about homework, or what will be in the next exam; it's a way for all of the students to take a break and have fun.

Join clubs and sport teams and get involved as much as possible! Theyre alot of concerts throughout the year as well!! There is always something going on and it is a lot of fun!

There's the obvious partying, and also there's the mall close by.

Try and get involved! There's hundreds of clubs satisfying each and every students' interests and if there is not one that suits your interest you can create a club all on your very own as well. Greek life is awesome to be a part of as well! You make long lasting friendships and have a great support system and family everywhere you go!

There are many clubs and clubs to join, and you can even get your friends together and create your own club if they don't already have it! There are also football, basketball, hockey and other games that go on throughout the year. It's fun to go with a bunch of friends and show your school spirit!

There are plenty ofintramurals like softball, football, and even hockey. The rec center is massive and always available if you want to lift or play basketball. There is also a club for everything you can possibly think of.

Take advantage of all the concerts and other events the Mullins Center brings in!
