It's an incredibly large school, but it has a lot of opportunities. I love the campus, but there's a lot of construction going on all the time. There's a lot to do but it's very easy to get away from the noise and socialization if you need to.

UMass is honestly a place that brings great happiness, in the form of opportunities, friends, and moments that will last a lifetime. The food is scrumptious and healthy for you, too! You ma think UMass is full of partiers, but there are far more great things happening throughout our lively campus.

UMass Amherst is the perfect combination of a big school with a small college town. This school allows you to make so many connections with professors and graduate programs as well as to the greater Pioneer Valley community. There's lots of diversity in political views, race and student life.

The school is filled with friendly people and professors, even the professors note how kind the students are. There are plenty of opportunities here, including clubs, assistantships, and volunteer opportunities. It also has the option of signing up for classes at the other neighboring colleges, which is great and expands your class options.
