    The University is a little more on the affordable side compared to other schools in the city and the financial aid office tries to help any way they can. Along with advisers and specific programs, the schools tries to help you save money.

    Tuition costs are rising. But even with the yearly uptick in the price UMB is loads cheaper than the private schools in the area.

    If you are looking to get a great education for a great price, UMass Boston is certainly a good option. Plus, it is only a a few minutes away from the downtown area where there are shops, restaurants, etc.
