    There are lots of great restaurants in the area that offer discounts and special deals for students. UMass Dartmouth is also very close to Providence, Rhode Island which is a fun city to visit with friends.

    Attend the events the school has. There is more to do than just parties. The school has movie nights, guest speakers, club nights. Stay alert and you can find almost anything. Go to a sports game or take the bus to the movie theaters if you have the extra cash. There's plenty to do.

    There always some event going on campus, you wont be bored. SGA usually host shows in the auditiorium such as comedy shows, bingo nights, raffle prizes and more. And if your into parties, almost every saturday on campus different clubs and organizations hold parties at Woodland Commons.

    For orientation we had a lot of fun. We hung out, played games, and later in the night they had a game show that everyone participated in!

    I hang out with friends and play Rugby. I am also a part of the theater group called 20 cent fiction. We put on the Rocky Horror Picture Show in the fall and it was so much fun!
