Around Town

The city of Lowell is a historic site. There are many historic things/museums you can check out. There's a bowling alley and a movie theater, tons of restaurants and pubs (if you're into that sort of thing), shops and stores, and places where you can just plain walk around too.

Rec center, outdoor adventures program, CAPA, plenty of things to do.

I hang out with my friends a lot. I like to be more on the relaxing side of the college scene.

There are many little restaurants around the city. Suppa's (right on North Campus) is a great hangout for students because of the great food and big portions! Downtown lowell has many little shops and restaurants and is only about a 15-20 min walk from east campus! There is also other shopping malls not too far off of the highway, like Burlington Mall, and there is a target, Dots, and Marshalls not too far away.

The campus is close to Downtown Lowell and the school provides shuttles to get there. You'll find clubs and bars to hang out at

The recreation center provides alot of activities for students to take advantage of, such as rock climbing, intramural sports and trips to outdoor places. There are also school functions such as dances, trivia nights, music shows and much more!

Going to the hockey games and basketball games are a blast. I had never been to a hockey game before but I'm glad I did, the River Hawks are very good. Downtown Lowell isn't that far either and there is always something to do there whether is eating of shopping.

Hockey games are a big one, baseball games at the Spinners stadium, and other athletic events.

I join clubs! I am a member of Pre-law, Mock trial and I am the president of UML's International Relations Club. I absolutely love it! I meet so many new people and I am always busy! I also enjoy yoga and Zumba at the school!

I know there are many places offered around campus for the students.
