Rent your text books! Unless it is something you believe you'll use in your career, renting is the way to go. Use the gym and computer labs! You're paying for these things in Fees so don't get a gym membership elsewhere!! Join honor societies, clubs for your major or extracurricular activities - they look GREAT on your resume and they're a perfect way to meet people and make connections.

It is a great price. I went there for two years and don't have any student loans or debts to pay off because of help through scholarships and the fact that it's so cheap!

You get what you pay for generally! With the rising costs of tuition, you won't get much better. and Lowell is a great place to thrive and become independent! Although it is not the best city to live in, there are many aspects that make it a nice place, including the river, and many things to visit around it. It is a little over $20,000 a year, which is pretty good for a state school.
