Make sure that you want to pursue a career in the health sciences, because that is all that is provided at the University of Minnesota-Rochester. If you decide you want to change your major outside of the health sciences, you would have to transfer to a different University of Minnesota campus, or a whole different college. The education here challenges the students and you only take courses that are applicable to the health sciences, so your electives serve a purpose.

Come prepared for a challenging experience because the curriculum is hard, being focused in health sciences, but know that help is easily attainable. Friends are easy to make here because of the smaller campus size and it actually seems like a real community. Do not attend if you have no interest in health whatsoever.
