Be prepared for strong southern traditional values. College football is more important to Ole Miss than the College itself. Oxford is a very small town with not much to do.

They have great programs here and there are always friendly people around the campus that are more than willing to help in any way that they can. The classes can be difficult at times but I have only had very helpful teachers and professors that will meet with you and help you the best way that they can. I would rate this school as high as I could my experiences here have been ones I will never forget.

Ole Miss is a huge party school with set in stone traditions and values. Money and status is extremely important here as well as Greek life. The academics are awesome though and the professors are great.

Ole Miss is beautiful-that's definitely a plus. The campus is the prettiest one I have ever seen, and the people are very friendly. The University and Oxford is like a family.

The University of Mississippi is a great liberal arts college that offers a variety pathways that guide you to your ideal career. However, the social aspect of the university is heavily centered around Greek life and partying. I have found this to be a very unfortunate characteristic, as, in more ways than one, students are somewhat expected to partake in a deplorable lifestyle aside from their studies.
