    Since I am part of the 6 year BA/MD program here, it is very expensive for me, but probably saves me in time and money compared to a regular 4 year undergraduate and 4 years of medical school. I don't know much about the expense of colleges, but this school had the some of the cheapest rates in Kansas and Missouri. I think only Washburn and Emporia were cheaper but this school has way more opportunities and many professional schools as well.

    UMKC has a small college feel, but has everything a large university has to offer. You definitely get what you pay for. Students can go work out in the Recreation Center for free because it is already included in tuition, unlike a couple surrounding colleges. Tutors at the Student Success Center are also free.
