The Nosh is good, but Provincial house can get old if you're living in the dorms and eating there almost every day.

The food is ok. The dining hall on south campus gets old after a while, and the meals are so expensive. I think the meal plan is a rip off. $1600 for 4 months? What 120 lb. girl can eat that much food? None of them.

Your meal plans will be your best friend! The Dining Hall on South Campus is pretty good, but honestly the food on North Campus in the Nosh is better you can use you meal plans there as well.

The Pro Ho dining hall is mediocre at best and the Nosh is fantastic! If you want to eat at the Nosh it is highly recommended to have the declining balance meal plan.

Since I don't live on campus , I don't know a lot about the food and dining, but the few times I did eat at one of the dining halls the food was good and inexpensive.

UMSL has many places that you can eat, there is a Subway on campus as well as a cafeteria called the NOSH. The NOSH has a variety of foods from fast food, soups, coffee/tea, to stir fry and sushi. There is also another place called the Provincial House and this is like a buffet. You only pay twelve dollars and can order as many things as you wish. They have a great amount of dishes, from breakfast, to lunch to dinner and dessert.

I personally got to experience a bit of the Greek life at UMSL by attending parties and witnessing my boyfriend pledge and become and active of a fraternity. UMSL has a great greek system with many opportunities to join, or to just associate with the greeks themselves. They host a lot of events that you can get yourself involved in even without wanting to join.
