Around Town

Montevallo has numerous fun activities in the form of AIM, or Active in Montevallo, events planned out by a student-run committee. There are also clubs that plan their own events across, and off, campus. Even still, however, there are intramural sports being held at all times the school's primary sports are in the off-season.

Go to the Tavern (the only bar), play frisbee, soccer....

Get involved! There are sports: baseball, basketball, tennis... College Night events that you can be a part of, including a musical that each side (Gold and Purple) put on for the school, there are many different groups and clubs to join, etc. There is always something to do here. You won't ever get bored! :)

The Montevallo recreation center looks amazing. It's got a weight room, indoor pool, and basketball court. There were also posters up all over campus for various clubs and sports. Looks really exciting.

There aren't a lot of things around campus to do, but there are plenty of things within 10 to 15 miles of campus. Everything from movie theaters, to clubs. Also, on campus, there are intramural sports activities.

There is so much to do especially if you live on campus, there is the WOW center that everyone hangs out.

There is about a million clubs and many choices for Greek Life.

There are tons of activities on campus to do for fun! Fun begins in your dorm. You will meet some many people that are a lot like you. Activities on campus is centered around what you like to do.

Basketball games, college night--its like our homecoming since their is no football team. During the first weeks, we have a bunch of parties including Foam parties, Movie nights on Fridays out on the quad, On the weekends buses takes us to the shopping center every Sunday, and for early Sundays there are many churches to go to.
