I am currently a sophomore at the University of Montevallo and am definitely learning a lot in my classes. Due to the small teacher to student ratio, all of the teachers will at least recognize you as one of their students, if not know you by name and major. They realize that all students learn in different ways and will help you try to understand, or direct you to someone that may help you more.

Montevallo has such a beautiful campus and welcoming faculty. The representative in my area, Randy Engle, is so helpful. There isn't much you could manage to dislike about the school. It's a wonderful liberal arts college and my soon to be home for the next few years.

It is a small university located in a small town. Don't let the size fool you there is plenty of diversity here. The small size is great for classes when you want a more one on one experience, professors always have time for you.
