I am currently a sophomore at the University of Montevallo and am definitely learning a lot in my classes. Due to the small teacher to student ratio, all of the teachers will at least recognize you as one of their students, if not know you by name and major. They realize that all students learn in different ways and will help you try to understand, or direct you to someone that may help you more.

    The environment at the school is very dynamic, yet calm at the same time. It facilitates the learning experience, allowing for any easy transition into college life. The people are also some of the nicest people one can ever have the fortune to meet.

    The campus is beautiful during the spring. The people are very different and have hippy tendencies. The classes are small and most teachers are helpful.

    The University of Montevallo is a wonderful, small 4-year school based on diversity and the liberal arts. The teachers are excellent and very helpful, and is an easy learning environment because the classes are smaller than the average college class. I love this college because creativity is welcomed and freely expressed; it is an artistic haven.

    Montevallo is a great school if you enjoy the small town feel. It is a small but very sociable community on and off campus. And the classes aren't that big so you can have one on one time with the professors.

    Everything about this University is wonderful. It has a beautiful campus, generally nice students, and personalized class experience. If you'd like a smaller school with teachers willing to give one on one time, it's perfect for you!

    Montevallo is a great school for Education majors, business, or art/music majors! We have great teachers and getting involved on campus is very easy here. I couldn't have picked a better school.

    Montevallo is an excellent Liberal Arts School that caters to the needs of each student. Classes are small and the teachers know their students by name. The campus is secured and the students feel safe.
