I am currently a sophomore at the University of Montevallo and am definitely learning a lot in my classes. Due to the small teacher to student ratio, all of the teachers will at least recognize you as one of their students, if not know you by name and major. They realize that all students learn in different ways and will help you try to understand, or direct you to someone that may help you more.

The University of Montevallo offers a diverse atmosphere that gives its students a well-rounded education in liberal arts. The student body is small (around 2,000) and diverse in religion, ethnicity, and background. Professors are well-educated in their fields and are willing to give their students individual attention and help in their courses.

I have taken two tours so far of the school. One tour was my initial tour and the next was for the accepted student day. I am very impressed with how beautiful the campus is.

Montevallo is amazing. A close knit, friendly community, students who are willing to reach a little out of their comfort zone thrive here. I wouldn't trade attending school here for the world.

This school very bland academically and socially. I am bored and not challenged at all and I feel as if everything here is stale and old and needs to be gutted. Montevallo needs new facilities and a major facelift to attract more students.

Montevallo has such a beautiful campus and welcoming faculty. The representative in my area, Randy Engle, is so helpful. There isn't much you could manage to dislike about the school. It's a wonderful liberal arts college and my soon to be home for the next few years.

It is a small university located in a small town. Don't let the size fool you there is plenty of diversity here. The small size is great for classes when you want a more one on one experience, professors always have time for you.

From the looks of it, this college is more for those who are achieving a degree in teaching, fine arts, like drama, opera, etc. This college seems fine. It looks exciting too.

I love everything about Montevallo-how friendly they are, how small the class size are and the whole sense of community there.
