Around Town

UNO is located in an amazing place. The art museum is not far away from campus and there many restaurants and recreation around the area and so you will not feel like there is nothing to do. Now, the campus plans many activity for students to become engaged on campus, many options..it's just your choice.

There's a lot of opportunities on and off campus to participate in fun activities. My personal favorite is Midnight Mojo, tons of games, free food, and just fun while your hanging out with friends. I also appreciate all the activities they hold in the pep bowl that are open to everyone.

There is a park right by campus and many restaurants that give discounts if using a student ID.

All athletic events are free to students. The school books countless influential, famous, scholars to engage with students. There are activities like Mav Mojo where the school sponsors events at cool restaurants, movies or theme parks or whatever else you can think of an provide it free to students.

The college has a great fitness facility that offers a lot of cool classes and also features a nice rock climbing area, which is really fun! There is a nice mall with a great movie theater about 5 minutes from campus and the Old Market district has some really cool bars, restaurants, and shops.

Sports/club sports, UNO hockey games, student orginizations.

I will join numerous organizations that interest me because I want to meet potential lifetime friends!

UNO offers a wide range of social organizations that you can choose from. They also have intramural sports and events all year around.

College World Series, Basketball games, Greek life.
