It is a huge commuter school and it is super noticeable while living on campus. I've had some great professors and a couple not too great ones. I love the atmosphere overall.

The university provides great scholarship opportunities. The education is great. The institution is located in a big city, so there's always something to do in your free time.

UNLV, despite being on the surface of the sun, is really fantastic to it's students. There's always something fun going on whether it be bouncy house, or a ton of food trucks competing for your service. There's also helpful booths with water (yay!) planners, coffee, and friendly faces to help answer your questions- perfect for if you get lost!

UNLV has great programs for Hospitality, Architecture, and Nursing. Other programs are great too, just make sure that you research them first! Great value for in-state students.

One of the best schools if you plan on pursuing a career as a hotel/restaurant manager. A lot of opportunities given to students which you don't get at Cornell or MSU. You'll see a lot of Korean and Chinese people on campus.

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is very open and diverse environment that gives you enough of effective old school teachings but with a modern twist. UNLV is a very big campus however something in the student body and faculty makes it seem like a we're on a closer level.

University of Nevada Las Vegas, is a friendly, and easy to get around campus. The professors try and help all of their students, and will respond to questions that students email them or talk to them in person. This University offers tons of classes, and the guidance counselors will help students find and chose the appropriate classes that they need to take for their degrees.

UNLV is a great school to attend especially for those who wish to pursue a career in Dental or Engineering. The people are friendly, most teachers are quite tough which is good because they are preparing you for the real world.

Great school, but very large commuter school. Classes range in size depending on major; core classes are lecture hall style. UNLV has a great nursing and law school program if that is what you are interested in.

UNLV is a very diverse college with a huge social life. There is so much to do on and around campus with much excitement with new activities going on everywhere. There is so much school spirit and pride from attendees and future students, alike.
