The classes offer an incredible amount of insight and new information. Classes tend to start off a little slow in my experience, but when they did get going they got going quickly and I learned a lot in short amounts of time. In addition, classes don't have lazy setups; that is, professors go into detail on each subject and don't simply list things for you to write down and memorize for the exams. Instead, they will actually take the time to explain and talk about each bit of content that comes up. Most professors also dedicate specific periods...

University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is a fantastic school! Everyone on campus is nice and friendly, willing to assist their colleagues or students as much as possible. Along with the people who work and attend the school, they have a wonderful and well organized curriculum in each class no matter the subject or different educational backgrounds.

UNLV has fairly low in-state tuition but that is quickly changing due to tuition hikes. Out of state tuition apparently sucks, especially if you're a full-time student. You get out of the school what you put into it, most of the time.

I would rate the University of Nevada- Las Vegas excellent. They have made my first impression of them to be a college that cares about their students and they are willing to help you in anyway the can, The have answered all my questions and if they didn't have and answer they will find it. I am getting ready to go visit the campus and do my orientation and I can not wait to meet some of the wonderful people that i will be spending my next four years with, I chose UNLV because I want to get into film and music and the opportunity for internships on the strip are the best around. UNLV is very mixture diversity and and culture. It is the perfect blend of the amazement of the Las Vegas city and the calm of the Nevada desert with top rated programs and professors from around the USA. Going to UNLV, you get the best of both worlds!

It is one of the top schools for students interested in hotel management and pretty average when it comes to other degrees. I got my biochemistry degree here and I wanted to go here for Physical Therapy, but got wait-listed. I was very impressed with the Physical Therapy program because the students and faculty seemed very personable and I liked how they incorporated iPads into the program and even had a scholarship to help pay for them.

UNLV is a nice campus which includes a four floor gym, complete with basketball courts and weight rooms, and a center to eat called the Student Union. Getting to class is also easy since the campus is small enough to where five minutes can take a person from end to end of the campus. Professors are also nice but a person should always do their research on which professor is best.
