    This is a good place to let your dollars stretch, you just have to be wise on where you choose to spend (for example, avoid the dorms/food & dining; too expensive).

    Any time a website or newspaper puts out a list of the best value universities, UNLV comes out near the top. There are cheaper schools but not by much and those that are cheaper are usually in BFE (nowhere).

    As a Nevada state resident, UNLV is not expensive at all, and thanks to scholarships and grants tuition can even be free for some. However, for out of state students, the tuition can be quite pricey, but in most cases you really do get what you pay for.
