Lake Tahoe is only a 45 minute drive away so it is always fun to either go up there to snowboard/ski or to lay on the beach and hang out with friends. Even though Reno is known for the casinos, there are a lot of things that college students can do that don't involve being downtown or near a casino.

» Read MoreThere are many things to do when you have down time from school. There is Lake Tahoe about 30 minutes from campus that is jaw dropping. Some of the finest winter sports play area's not that far. San Francisco is Three hours away, and in any direction there is always something going on.
» Read MoreThe Nevada Blue Crew is huge on sports, sporting events are a blast. Literally across the street from campus are three different hang out bars/restaurants that run great student specials on food and drinks.
» Read MoreClubs, sports, and organizations are great ways to have good clean (relevant) fun, but other non-member activities often occur at the student union. Movie nights and lecture series (featuring famous scientists like Bill Nye and Michio Kaku) are put on by the student government.
