There are many activities to do on campus. One example of this is the Night of All Nations, which is an event that celebrates different cultures with food, musical performances, and more! There is also the Relay for Life, an event that takes place for hours on the football field to raise money for cancer. Many activities take place during Relay for Life, such as traditional ceremonies, zumba, performances by the Glee club, and more. During the winter the students can visit the outdoor skating rink or go to Lake Tahoe to snowboard or ski. During warm weather students can travel to the lake as well or visit the Truckee River. Something simple, but always fun, is to find different food places in the city- there are many! Students can join clubs and learn more about themselves; there are multiple clubs offered from religiously-based clubs, to sports-centered clubs, to community service opportunities, etc.

The Wal, Wolf Den and Corkscroo are the best local bars (good food too). Go to the sports games; they're always fun. Skiing and snowboarding in the mountains over winter, Lake Tahoe in the Summer.

Reno has a lot to offer because of it's location. Tahoe is an hour away so it's perfect if you love the outdoors. Reno has it's own art & music community so there is always an event to attend. The parks are beautiful for an optional study site or just to unwind from studying.

There are always things to do at the University. You can join a club or intramural sport and attend many events held by different committees. You can grab a study buddy and a room at the Knowledge Center and study for fun or you can just sit in the quad and enjoy the view.
