My college experience thus far has taught me to work hard, how to prioritize my time better, and how to enjoy a full college experience. Classes here are lots of work, in order to succeed I had to learn great study habits, become friends with my professors, and know that there is always help somewhere in the university. I never once felt overwhelmed or overworked and I soon realized that the University of Nevada, Reno has helped me learn not only inside the classrooms, but outside of them as well.

This school is so underrated it's ridiculous. You get a Tier 1 education for a drastically lower price than other Tier 1 schools, and the university is located less than 40 minutes away from one of the top vacation destinations in the world, Lake Tahoe. Its medium size is also perfect - it creates the feel of a larger campus while still being small enough to award its students amazing research opportunities.

UNR is a diverse campus with lots of areas to study in. The campus had ample places to study and most professors are willing to help students out of class.
