Get involved with one of UNE's 70+ clubs and organizations. Its just something that everyone should do at college. Go on an outdoor recreation trip. There are many activities from sea kayaking to dog sledding to ice climbing that you can participate in at UNE. Its all free so why not take advantage of it? Go to some of the club sponsored activities on campus. I recommend RSLA's Sex Show and APB's Bingo (they give out TVs and iPads etc)! Go to the beach. UNE has a beach on campus, and during the Fall Semester there are quite a few beach friendly days. Again, TRY EVERYTHING.

There are a ton of clubs and intramural sports to get involved in all over campus. This university is also located next to the Saco River and the Biddeford Pool, so you can take a stroll down the beach and go swimming/tanning/etc. Unfortunately there isn't much to do off campus and most stores close at an early hour in Maine so plan on doing things on campus.

Biddeford isn't the greatest town but its not the worst and if you have a car, Saco is literally 5 minutes away. It may not be the most exciting campus, but there's always SOMETHING to do...

The campus provides many things through out the year to do for fun but most of the time what you are doing for fun is hanging out with your friends.

My favorite stuff to do in my spare time is play sports with friends. It is really easy to get a group together and just hang out and be active. Beach volleyball is one of the most fun things to play on the sand court, but its also easy to get a pickup basketball game going in the gym, or an ultimate frisbee game started on a field. This is one of my favorite aspects of the college, as it is so easy to set up these games and have a blast for a few hours at least. You get to be active and make lots of friends in the process. Its a great time.

Unfortunately, there is also not a lot to do on weekends besides activities put on by the university. If you want to leave the campus, it's a 10-20 minute drive to find things to do. There is, however, a beach on campus when it's warm.

Thats all up to you. However, i must warn you that the area is patrolled and enforced by the towns police as if it were Eastern Germany in 1983.
