I’m not sure what I exactly expected college to be like but I find it to be much harder than I originally anticipated. I’m taking more classes and more credits then many of my friends back home who went onto college. The course load for the classes can be overwhelming but when I plan my time accordingly I find that the material is easier to learn.

Many kids complain about things like food and tuition but you're not going to get gourmet food and a super cheap tuition. » Read MoreUniversity of New Haven has a lot to offer students. I highly recommend getting involved with clubs. I have joined lacrosse and a fraternity and it has made my college experience a lot more rewarding. You meet a lot of people and get involved in a lot of worthy community organizations.
» Read MoreThe campus is pretty small; no more than ten minutes to cross it. It's not really a 'party school'; people go out to clubs and usually don't drink on campus. The location of housing isn't the greatest for upperclassmen.
