The school is a good place to go and get your degree. I am studying Business. The classes are harder for this major than other majors. There is a lot of writing and reading. However, the teachers are extremely nice, and they are very helpful. They do not like for students to fail. They will go out there way to help you as long as you give effort in trying to succeed. I thought I was a good writer, until I started writing in college. The teachers helped me identify what areas I needed help with, and how to improve...

If you are looking for a solid education in just about any degree that won't hurt your wallet, UNM is the place for you. It is also very diverse and filled with open-minded students, and faculty. So far my grades are great and my college experience wonderful!

The campus is pretty nice, especially the duck pond. I've had a pretty good experience with most of my professors and I like the UNM Library. Sometimes you have a hard time getting into the classes you want though (because they aren't being offered anymore or on the main campus).

The University of New Mexico is an enriching, spirited, and great school. I have had the best help that I could possibly get from all of the offices (financial aid, advisement, and Student Health & Counseling). Also, I have had a better attitude toward continuing my education and toward the UNM community as wholes.

The professors are available for help outside the classroom, some classes have teaching assistants that lead study groups. The CAPS tutoring department is open in different areas of campus and have extended hours to fit anyone's schedule. The school spirit is exciting and the activities are great and involve everyone, like the Hanging of the Greens at Christmas time.

The school is very unique to attend. Classes are small and easily managed. Finally the Advisors are a little weak and ineffective.
