New Orleans offers so many forms of entertainment and new adventures daily!

There are many bars and night clubs in downtown New Orleans, from sports clubs to dance halls. For on-cmapus entertainment, the Department of Student Involvement usually offers some sort of student activity such as a movie night or community video game activity.

There is always some kind of activity going on at the University of New Orleans. The Sandbar, a food establishment located at The Cove, regularly has performances of Jazz music and improv groups on their stage. Earlier this semester, there was a tug-or-war competition and a battle between the girls on a powerpuff football game. A few days ago, current UNO students had a concert! There is always something to do at UNO, and even if you're not interested in an activity that week, you are in New Orleans where there is always something to do!

Go on student retreats, make new friends, hang out in the quad and the cove, go to the french quarter on the 55 bus.

If you want to have fun, you want to go off campus. They have events, but they aren't really exciting.

Student Activity Councils organize events on campus at least once a week. UNO is a wet campus which means you are allowed to drink if you are above 21. There is a brand new bar on campus which serves beers and wine. Allowed to purchase after 4:30 pm.
