Campus living is a bit pricey and frankly not enough bank for one's buck; however, the education that a willing student can receive is more than enough to make up for the university's shortcomings.
» Read MoreAs an art student, I'd say it isn't. Howver, if you are a Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, Environmental major or etc, then UNCA is the place for you. UNCA science department is connected to UNC Chapel Hill's, which has a very good program. Many students who attend UNCA then apply to Chapel Hill are more likely to receive acceptance than other students from other schools.
