When I first came to Pembroke in 2011, the cafeteria food was tolerable. Now (2014), the cafeteria food is MUCH better! They've made some serious overhauls and it's actually delicious. There are also other options for food nearby in the same building, but be prepared to pay a little more for the convenience.

There are not that many food options on the UNCP campus. There is the main cafeteria, Bert's cafe, Papa Johns, and Starbucks. The food is okay, but could be better.

The food and dining here are pretty good. The Campus dining hall offers a plethora of foods and if the dining hall is not for you then other dining places are offered on and around campus.

The cafeteria is clean and have a great cleaning policy. The chief and workers are very friendly and always ask for your opinion. If you eat something harmful, be quick to tell them.

Food is Absolutely TERRIBLE. They serve almost the same thing every day and it sucks. The lines are long and the cafe is always packed you cant get a spot to sit in the to eat.

There is a Starbucks, Einstin's (which is a bagel/breakfast place), Papa Johns, Bert's (which is a burger and wings place), and we have a Sub-connection. Of course there is always the cafe which has some variety.

There are many new and old sororities at Pembroke. There are less fraternities but what they lack in size, they make up in style. They have strict policies on safety and getting in but that makes it more interesting.

Greek life is HUGE on campus. I am actually apart of greek life on campus and I couldn't be happier. So many opportunities open up and so many new friends. I truly opened up after joining greek life.

Greeks are very involved throughout campus. Each fraternity and sorority has an issue that they all focus on, such as breast cancer awareness, helping the homeless, helping St. Jude's hospital, environmental clean up, and community revival (building and rebuilding in the surrounding area).

As a member of a Greek Organization, i can say that Greek life is a great part of the college life, and is something everyone should at least look into, or consider. Now, it isnt for everyone of course, and it does cost a little extra money, but the bonds and networking opportunities are endless, and it can really change your life.
