Beach, downtown Wilmington, feeding fish in Amphitheater, seeing a sometimes free or $2 movie at Lumina Theater on campus, Sharky's Game Arcade, playing cards against humanity with friends, mall, and so much more!

Where do I begin! There's downtown Wilmington, which has a whole bunch of little cute shops all over. There's the many beaches just minutes away from the campus.

The school sends out e-mails each week for activities on campus or in local parks around town to help communicate with locals. There is also a beach only 5 minutes away if you just need to get off campus and breath some. There are also plenty of shops, restaurants and if you go into the actually Wilmington city there are historic places to go view along with some nice clubs to dance at.

It's only a mile away from the beach, so a lot of people go there. There is also over 250 clubs to join and bars and restaurants all over the place (it's a tourist town)

You're at the beach! Go to the beach! Go shopping/walk around historic downtown! Stay around campus and go to all the different concerts and events that are free or discounted for students.

Wilmington is literally the perfect city- not too small, but there are still plenty of things to do. The beach is a 10 minute bike ride away and there are a variety of different clubs if you're into the nightlife. The mall is a fairly good size and there are tons of fast food and sit down restaurants within a close distance. UNCW does not have a football team, so a lot of people compensate by attending the basketball and baseball games.

The beach is close by and downtown is just as close in the opposite direction. There are lots of places to explore in Wilmington and there are always on campus events going on.

Downtwn is always an option. You can walk by the water or go eat at the restaurants along it. You can go to the movies either at the regular theater or the IMAX. There is a mall just down the road from campus and a shopping center on the way to Wrightsville Beach. There are volunteer opportunities everywhere too. All you have to do is decide what you want to do, and Wilmington has it.
