Around Town

Denton is an awesome town full of life and music. There's a ton of festivals for music and art, and just by walking around town you can typically stumble upon something wild, like a wake-boarding competition on Fry street.

There are many reasonably priced restaurants in Denton that cater to college students.

Exercise. The REC center is state of the art.

The rec center is a gym in which you can do so many things like rock climbing, yoga classes or any kind of classes. There are lots of organizations that do any kind of fun activities around campus. The unions has also many activities to keep you entertained.

There are parties and other events thrown by organizations on and off of campus.

I like to go to the rec center and workout on the ellipticals. I also like to sit in the union and listen to the piano.

There are close to one thousand concerts and recitals every year. There's literally something going on every day.

There's all kinds of fun places to go to around Fry St. Even if you don't have a car, there's always fun stuff being organized around campus. There's always stuff like movies being shown on campus, or interesting lectures, mini concerts, and even little festivals.

Explore Denton, go out at night. Attend on campus events. Collect as many freebies as possible.

There is plenty of stuff to do for fun almost every two weeks they have something going on at the union, free food and free ice cream.
