Almost every hall has a pool table, ping pong table, and a tv. The rec has sand volleyball and indoor volleyball along with indoor/basketball. There are tons of intramural sports you can participate in.

There is always something going on. On a campus with 36,000 other students, you will always find something to do. From UNT's Distinguished Lecture series which has brought speakers such as George W. Bush, Condoleezza Rice, Rainn Wilson and others, on campus movie screenings, off campus bowling and hookah bars, country dance halls and Fry street, the notorious bar scene right off of campus, you will never be bored.

Not far down the road is The Square in Denton. There are many small shops and cool little spots to see or hang out at, and they always have pretty lights at night and often have live music playing.

There are a lot of different events that take place on campus that can be fun to attend. There's also the Denton Square not too far away and there are lots of cool shops to look into as well as the Campus Theatre. Another UNT favorite, Fry St. which wants to be like Austin's 6th St. but is way too small. Despite that it's loads of fun and a great way to hang out with friends.

UNT always has events going on for its residents. From movie nights outside the library, famous comedians brought for a show, concerts from our many ensemble groups, athletic events, even guest speakers such as Rainn Wilson and Seth Rogan! Looking for a night life? Fry Street is a great place to stop by, it's always fun (Granted you're 21 or older of course) and for the underaged, there's always the Denton Square that is about a 5 minute drive. It has various dining options, a theater, and various shops to pass the time. But that's only around campus, with the help of a car your free to enjoy all the fun Denton has to offer! Sure it's a small town, but it sure is packed with things to do and experience.
