» Read MoreThere is so many things to do around campus, whether it's hanging out with friends in the Union over a cup of coffee, playing sand volleyball, or sitting outside with friends on gorgeous afternoons. There is always students starting up a game of four square in the middle of campus by the Union, a group playing with a slap rope, or ultimate Frisbee in Lawther Field. UNI always has something going on, and the students are always welcome to join in the fun at any point in time.
» Read MoreThe hill always has different bars and restaurants popping up. It's a popular weekend hot spot, but I prefer downtown Cedar Falls myself. The hub is a bar that has great live music and not a bad price either. When I go back next year, its' definitely where I'll be spending my first weekend. If night life isn't for you, downtown has Scratch cupcakes, which if you haven't heard of them yet---you will. It's a CF must have because they are so good. There is always a little bit of something for everyone in good ol' CF.
