“Dorm Life at Notre Dame is a unique experience. All undergraduate dorms are single-sex. That can make it a bit tough at first to find friends of the opposite gender,…”

Pretty good food for a dining hall! Wish you could use points off campus.
» Read MoreAs far as dining hall food, I'd say we have it pretty good here at Notre Dame. We have 2 dining halls, each with a decent variety, and then several restaurants and cafes around campus along with a little grocery store type place called the huddle. ABP (the new cafe in the library) is so great and we also have a subway, burger king, taco bell, and pizza hut. There is also a 5 guys, Jamba Juice, Chipotle, Jimmy Johns, Hotbox, and several other restaurants right by campus.

» Read MoreAccording to polls we have one of the best dining halls (food wise) in the nation. The buffet style dining halls offer a variety of foods (Asian, Tex-Mex, pasta, and home style) and decent vegetarian options (which they're adding to). While I'll happily second the opinion of the polls, campus food goes far beyond just what's offered at the dining halls. If you want a sit down to a balanced, healthy meal, you can eat at one of our two dining halls twice a day (all you can eat). If that doesn't soothe your appetite, you're free to frequent one of the dozens of cafes on campus or other eateries on campus (Subway, Recker's Grill, Pizza Hut, Starbucks, or Taco Bell). There is also a Huddle Mart if you need to get a snack for a game watch. If you don't have much in the way of cash on you, the university takes care of that. Each student is allotted 365 dollars (flex points) a semester on top of board (two meals a day) to ensure that no student ever goes hungry.
