    The places just outside the campus attract many people from the island especially thursday nights. People will go from bar to bar dancing drinking and meeting others.

    There are many student associations and different activities to do at night. Thursday nights are to be spent in the Avenida which is the street in front of the university and it has different pubs to drink and dance. There is also another street nearby for all those salsa dancers.

    If there's one thing the university lacks is the ability to promote activities. I never know what's going to happen unless I walk right into it. But you can always take the train into any of the stops and walk around, shop, dine or sight-see. The train station is right on campus so it's easy to move around.

We know that is important to study, but is important too clearing the mind. The University of Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras is surrounded of places that have good music, pool tables and the company of good people. Usually, these places are frequented in Thursday nights known as College Avenue where most of the college community (and people of different places and colleges) goes to have a great time. Definetly, you will have a great experience in the College Avenue so you never going to get bored ! **Most of these places require id and 18+.
