No matter what your interests are outside the classroomâ??from hiking to honors, music to martial arts, service to snowboardingâ??at Redlands, youâ??ll never be bored. With more than 120 social groups and clubs, including student government, multicultural, religious and service organizations, recreational and outdoor clubs, championship athletic teams, a world-class fitness center, live concerts, volunteer opportunities and Greek life, youâ??ll discover that, at Redlands, there really is something for everyone.

There are several different campus clubs and activities for on campus fun. We also have nice gyms, swimming pools etc. The Greek houses are always putting on some type of party, kickback, movie night, karaoke, game night, etc. Also, we're downtown so there's malls, movie theaters and beaches less than an hour away.

Redlands is ideally located in Southern California. Snowboarding, the beaches and Joshua Tree National Park are all an hour away. The university sponsors a lot of outings to museums, beaches, and to go hiking, camping, kayaking, rock climbing and a ton of other things. There are parties to attend, fraternities and sororities to join, and a quaint downtown area for those students who would like some peace and quiet.

The university is just a short drive away from the downtown. On Thursdays there is a Market Night from 6-9 and it is a fun atmosphere. On campus there are parties and dances put on by the fraternities and sororities.

I mostly go to events on campus like fairs, concerts by U of R students. One memorable event was when Wanda Sparks had a comedy show on campus. Can you sat HILARIOUS? We also have Spring Fest yearly, which is pretty damn cool.

Fun things to do include Freshman Orientation Week (laser tag, glow in the dark hide and seek, etc!), culture events, walking through downtown Redlands and eating nitrogen frozen Ice Cream (how cool is that?!) and many, many more things.

Everything! our ASUR Student Government provides students with events every week and multiple events each week. There are great sports games to attend and in every dorm the Community Assistants plan events right outside your door so there is always something fun to do on campus. Our Downtown Redlands area is great too if you want to get more involved in the Redlands community an they give discounts all over the place for U of R students
