Around Town

There are so many clubs that there is a good chance that everyone can find something they want to participate in. The city of Rochester is also home to museums, theathers, etc.

The Eastman School of Music, Strong Museum of Play, Concerts on Campus for special events and our very own Acapella Choirs.

Whatever you like!

Fun is dependent on who you surround yourselves with. For me fun is Playing League of Legends, or going out with the Fencing team!

Most fun comes from the campus activities organization. Comedians and bands will perform. There are many parties on the weekends, but there are also a lot of club-hosted events, such as In Between The Lines Improv Troupe and The Yellow Jackets.

Hang out on campus - it's difficult to go anywhere else unless you have a car. There are plenty of dorm parties, as well as bar parties off campus during the weekends.

Since you're in Rochester city, the sky's the limit! The University provides busing to parts of the city and the Rochester City Buses also come right on campus to take you everywhere!

Go to Niagara falls

I was part of the Sign Language club on campus and did a lot of activities with them. there are dozens of active clubs on campus that do so much. I was only in one, but I knew people in many who loved it. There are buses and shuttles that take students of campus to downtown and other places. Clubs and greek life tended to sponsor great off campus things such as ice skating in the winter and apple picking in the fall. There was definitely never not something to do.

Hang out with friends for fun, and attend concerts and parties. Also, be sure to try a garbage plate.
