Categories Comments Food and Dining The dining hall is open at certain hours making it less convenient than other universities' dining. The food is good.
Dorm Life I did not live in the dorms but I haven't heard anything bad about them.
In three sentences This is a great university. It is small, making it a great personable learning environment. You get the attention you need to be successful.

Categories Comments Campus Safety Nothing ever happens and people rarely act out, steal, or engage in any misproper conduct.
Greek Life None.
Great for these types of students Great for students who want to get away from home explore a different habitat but need to remain focus.
What to do for fun Fun resides in the city, but there are some fun events at school. For example; basketball games, football games, intermurals, and little things students throw here and there. Other than that fun is in the city of Lawrence, Oleatha, and Kansas City, MO.
Food and Dining The Food and Dining is average some days the food is Great other days its jss ok or unappetizing. The employees however, are enjoyable, funny and sometimes it makes the unappetizing days not seem as bad.
Dorm Life There are two Dorms; the more expensive one is better. There's not too much fun going on in the Dorm. However, you might meet some great people in the dorms other than that dorm life isn't all that great.
Academic Rigor Academically the school is known to be great.
Tips for prospective students If you want the crazy college lifestyle, you won't see to much of that here. Living off campus is much more free.
In three sentences Its a great school for athletes and those who want to become nurses. They work with you and try to keep you on track. Its a liberal school.

Categories Comments Campus Safety Very safe campus, everyone helps each other out and there are security guards on campus 24 hours, seven days a week.
Clubs and Activities Every club is available and if not, they are more than willing to help you start one.
Great for these types of students Nursing program and business program.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Fall and spring convocation for the entire school.
What to do for fun School activities, school sporting events, and KU is around the corner and Kansas City is even closer.
Food and Dining Food is reasonable, three meals a day, and all you can eat.
Dorm Life Good community, and the advisories are very friendly.
Academic Rigor Class are challenging but with the help the teachers provided, it is easy to succeed.
Tips for prospective students Teachers are more than willing to help you succeed at Saint Mary.
In three sentences Great small school, good community atmosphere. Teachers are more than willing to help you succeed and the small class size give you that ability. Every sport is played here, and everyone goes out and supports their school, a tight school community.

Categories Comments Campus Safety Leavenworth is known for Fort Leavenworth and some may think this is a unsafe place to live, but it's not. I have grown up around Leavenworth playing soccer for years in the area and nothing makes me feel more safe. USM is a perfectly safe campus because it is so small. There is always activities going on around campus at all hours of the day and night.
Greek Life Nonee.
Clubs and Activities USM offers many different clubs and activities. We are a theater school and very big in music so there are many choices for those. Over 93 percent of USM are athletes so there is never a night where you cant go watch a sporting event.
Great for these types of students USM is truly great for any type of student. As a school we are growing in majors and as people. They are redoing one of the buildings to be a Physical Theropy unit and I have no doubt that it will be anything less than somewhere like KU. Nursing is a huge thing at USM, almost all students that graduate already have a job. Music and Theater (we are a theater school) is also big at the spires nation.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus At the beginning of the year there was a school wide mass. Even if you're not religious its still amazing to see how much culture we have throughout our school.
What to do for fun USM offers movie night, bowling, sand volleyball, and many more. The campus is only fifteen minutes from Legends, but there is also a movie theater less than a minute away along with a gym and bowling. Also a lot of students play games of Sundays together because its usually every ones off day. You can also go to games all throughout the week. Support the Spires!
Food and Dining Food and Dining I also don't eat at USM because I live close to campus but everyone loves the food and there are always good choices of food. If you don't like it there is over ten choices around campus for fast food and there is also sit down places.
Dorm Life I cant give you a dorm life report because I don't live in the dorms but anywhere you go, living in the dorms is a great place to meet people. When I do go hang with friends in the dorms almost every ones doors are open so people can flow in and out of rooms to say hello and chat.
Academic Rigor Five stars are a must for USM. There are so many different resources you can use to help your grades. Free tutoring, teachers are always willing to help, and as a freshman your first year experience teacher is also there to help and of course the people are you are also a good help.
Tips for prospective students Check out the campus and look go to a game. The people here will become your family because sooner or later you will know everyone. It's awesome to go around campus and say know every ones name.
In three sentences The campus is amazing if you are looking for a small hands on school to help you further your education and even your athletic game this is the place for you. The school is very small but that works out to your own benefit with school work.

What to do for fun We get a free gym membership and it is right down the road so I like to work out.
Food and Dining Not everyone likes cafeteria food, but they make it bearable and plus you can eat as much as you want.
Dorm Life Everyone is friendly and nice.

Tips for prospective students If you need help with anything, everyone at this school is willing to help.
