There are activities offered every week on campus, but the beach, Sea World, and other various activities are nearby.

Join a club or organization that hosts night events! Do an intramural sport-excersise and teammates without the stress of being on varsity! Take the tram to Old Town or the trolley to the mall and walk around and tempt yourself to spend money. Jump in one of the many fountains on campus, but don't get caught!

there is plenty to do for fun due to the university's close proximity to downtown San Diego. The school will offer discounted student events as well so experiencing the city is easier and more affordable. Fashion Valley, the local outdoor mall, offers shopping and Mission Valley Shopping Center offers the same as well as a movie theater. Both are accessible by trolley, just a short walk or tram ride from campus. Students can also visit Old town San Diego as well as La Jolla Village for more local fun.

Fashion Valley is about 5 minutes from the University, so you can go to the mall and eat at restaurants there or go to the movies. The beach is about 10 minutes away, so you can go to the beach whenever. The tricky part is just finding a ride if you don't have a car. The University is close to Old Town, where there is great mexican food and tourist attractions. It is also close to Ocean Beach, which is a cute hippy town with a farmer's market and cute shops. There is honestly so much to do for fun. The possibilities are endless.
