There are plenty of things to do for fun like go to the local mall, go to the zoo, take a day trip to Lake Murray and go eat at all the great places off campus!

We have our own movie theater that is located on campus. Sometimes have concerts and downtown if you are of age.

I won't lie, USC is a huge bar school. Most students head downtown and go bar-hopping on weekends. If you are a guy, a social life may be hard to have if you are not in a frat. For girls, whether or not you are in a sorority, you will be allowed to attend almost all parties/tailgates/events.

I am in a few organizations on campus, which keep me busy in my spare time. I also know a lot of people that love playing intramural sports. And, the football games here are a HUGE deal. I don't care for football, so I don't go, but the majority of the campus clears out on game days to hang out at or around the stadium. There are also movies that play in the Russell House on Thursdays-Sundays and they are generally pretty good, and most importantly, FREE!

There is also something to do, whether it's on campus or off. Russell House often host movie nights in the theater with pretty recent movies. Carolina Productions has comedy nights, guest speakers, and other cool events. Then, on the weekends most people head downtown to Five Points, where there are bars, restaurants, and shops. The Vista also has a variety of shops and restaurants. There are also a lot of frat parties and functions, so you'll never be left bored.

West Quad (Green Quad) has a lot of activities in the D building, like yoga, organization events, free food, and a lot of other free things. There is rock climbing at the gym and field to play sports on. 5 Points is where college students go for night life, but it can be dangerous so be careful.

Sports - Gamecocks are above-average in nearly every sport and all tickets are included in your tuition and fees, so there's always a game to go to. Five Points is fun if you have a few bucks for a cover charge. There are always parties off-campus and get togethers on campus in dorms.

There is an unlimited amount of things to do for fun! Football games are a HUGE part of life at South Carolina during the fall. There are also plenty of opportunities to get active yourself, including intramural sports, two gyms, indoor & outdoor pools, a rock climbing wall, dance & fitness classes etc. There are also many clubs to join, as well as sororities and fraternities. Nightlife is very active, with both The Vista and 5 Points being very popular spots to party.
