Some meals were great, some not. There are amazing options at this school. There are on campus restaurants where you can get food. There is a coffee shop, sub place, Mexican food, and a healthy vegetarian friendly place as well. The cafeteria does offer some good meals as well. Thursday is commuter day, so commuters can dine for like three bucks!

Upstate has five main places to eat. There is the buffet style cafeteria, and three on campus restaurants and a coffee shop that close at five everyday (Jazzman's, Wholly Habanero, and Sub Connection) except for one restaurant that closes at 10pm (Sandella's).

I was't a big fan of on campus foods until I moved off campus. I love Sandella's panini's & Jazzmen's Cafe for a quick pick-up during the day.

Well, there is a lot of health food so I would not say it is entirely appealing. However, there are restaurants on campus that serve delicious pizza and tacos. I normally stop at the coffee shop on campus.

I'm not much into Greek life, but I do know that Upstate has many Fraternities and Sororities. There is a no hazing policy for both Fraternities and Sororities, and all groups are nonracial (any ethnic group can join), regardless of the group's ethnic origin.

From what I have heard, Greek life on campus is a easy way to meet life long friends. The Greek life ensures group study time so that no Greek member is failing a class. There are currently 11 different sororities on campus so there is a sorority for anyone wishing to be a part of it.
