Around Town

Tampa has great night life, campus has activities and clubs, and there are beaches and parks near by.

There are so many things to do on campus for fun, there truly never is a dull moment. All of the RA's are always organizing events to bring everyone together and get to know your fellow dorm mates. Also, every Wednesday night there are movies on the lawn, which is a lot of fun. They serve snacks and show the most recent movies that everyone loved. Every Friday CAB hosts Bulls Night Out and it is a different event each week. All of the events on campus are always free and a lot of fun. Plus, if all else fails, there will definitely be a party off campus every night of the weekend.

The campus often houses events solely for entertainment such as concerts and carnivals. There is always a sporting event going on as well.

There is plenty to do for fun in the Tampa area surrounding USF. There are plenty of hangouts for college kids.

JOIN THE CLUBS, BOOK CLUB, BOWLING, PHOTO CLUB, AND MANY MORE.

Join a Greek organization or an organization based off of your hobbies and likes.

There are plenty of things on campus and off campus to do for fun. Organizations are always making plans. Sometimes there are even fairs and concerts. In the fall of 2012 Ludacris performed at a carnival and in the spring of 2013 Hot Chelle Rae, Owl City, and All American Rejects performed on the same night at a fair.

There are a lot of on campus activities like movies on the lawn and bulls nite out. There is busch gardens less than 5 minutes down the road. There is also lowry park zoo which is pretty close.

I did not have much time for fun, if you catch your self in a tight schedule, one thing you should invest on that would really lower stress and build muscle is the Campus Recreation. Its open most of the day, and this would be essential for someone who does not have much time to do anything.

USF is not too far from the beach and is literally right around the corner from Busch Gardens theme park. There are also lots of on-campus activities which are advertised through posters and mass e-mails. One highlight each year is Bullstock which ends USF week. This year, Owl City and All American Rejects performed.
