Um, let's see. There are over 600 clubs and organizations, there is an awesome recreation center, you can take group fitness classes (like Zumba), you can attend sporting events, participate in all campus activities/events (e.g. homecoming, week of welcome), grab a bite to eat with friends, take the bull runner off campus with some friends, participate in bulls market.

There's a fully loaded gym if you want to work out, with additional basketball courts around campus. If you want to relax, there's the castor beach area. If you're a gamer, the top floor of one of our buildings has a bunch of TV's waiting for you to plug your system into it. If you're religious, there's a bunch of different religious organizations. If you're into comedy, there's an improv club. On Wednesday nights, there is a movie on the lawn event. And that's not even half of it! There is so much to do here, you'll never be bored. And if you want to have a quiet area to study, the library has six floors and a basement. Also a study area in each floor of the dorms, and quiet outside areas if you don't want to be inside and study. Everywhere around the university supports it, and USF students can buy a $50 year-round pass to Bush Gardens. It's right next to the university.

Students get a 50 dollar school year pass to Busch Gardens, which is only a 5 min drive away! Outdoor recreation hosts adventure trip--camping, hiking, kayaking--which are a lot of fun. Also, just north of campus USF owns Riverfront park where you can rent paddleboards, kayaks and canoes for next to nothing. They also has disc gold there!

There are plenty of on-campus activities and clubs that are bound to catch your eye, but there are also a lot of off-campus opportunities that the campus offers that people don't really take advantage of. For example, there are plenty of trips that are offered by the Outdoors Life club (located in the gym), which include discounts on canoes and a few hiking big hiking trips. There are plenty of clubs that offer discounts to events that are really fun, like the rock climbing club, surfing club, and wake boarding club, for example. There are plenty of places for night life, too, located a little ways off campus for anyone who's interested. All in all, there is something for everyone at USF.

While there wasn't much to do for fun on the main campus, several locations close to campus managed to offer a more interesting time, such as the Museam of Science and Industry and its ropes course.

Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, Downtown Tampa, etc. There are a lot of things you can do if you have a car and some extra money.
