The tuition rates aren't that bad in my opinion. The older dorms, though, are close the same price as the apartments off-campus, though, and the apartments have more space and better accommodations. The only thing the dorms have over the apartments is that the apartments are one-year leases, while the dorms are only paid for the semester. The meal plans seem to be a little overpriced too, unless you get the unlimited meal plan and put it to good use (I had a friend that had unlimited and ate 6 meals a day). But since both the meal plan and the first year dorms are required for first year students (barring certain exceptions), its a necessary evil that isn't too bad.

All the professors at USF have achieved the highest in their area of study. These PHD professors are then experts in their fields. Who better to teach us? The university is a research university so person with innovative ideas are warmly welcome. Although the school is big each person can still have an impact in their specific college. It is beautiful how the school is segmented into colleges for persons of the same educational or vocational area to correspond. But it is also open for other persons to tour and get involved despite their interest or major. Separate from the educational benefits offered, we are also given extensive health insurance, career advice, and many others to groom us into the best we can be.

I feel like USF is worth the price. It's not a very expensive school, and even if it was, I fell like I would find a way to make it work because this is my second home.
