have visited the campus
The dorms for freshman looked awesome. They have an amazing looking rec center..... complete with three story rock wall! Plus, if you're creative, or just like seeing things being reused, they have this really awesome room that is made mostly of recycled products from local companies!

The campus is beautiful, and every professor I have had so far is amazing at what they teach. There are no school traditions because the school is so young. It gets very boring on weekends, so if you are looking for a school with campus involvement- this is not the one.

Its also a place where education can send you on the right path, and its a place where life can cause you to burn bridges instead of build them. But one thing USI has that will help you through the tough times, is an amazing support system of faculty, and staff.

The University of Southern Indiana is a great school with many majors offered. The class sizes are small and you feel a personal one-on-one relationship with almost every professor. The University of Southern Indiana is the cheapest in-state school in Indiana and is a fantastic school.

USI is the perfect school for me. There is a small town feel, where people actually care and it is still easy to make friends and be accepted, while having thousands around you everyday! The school work is challenging but there are professors who care and will help you if you need them and ask.

Overall it is an excellent place to attend with a great atmosphere for a college student. However the advisers, depending on who you receive, are not very good at informing their students. But do not let a few bad seeds tarnish this beautiful university.
