Check out the Mississippi River area. If you're 21+, the mainstays of O'Gara's on Saturdays and the Wild Onion on Tuesdays are great.

There is always a game of ultimate frisbee going on in the quad and people are very welcoming. Down the street, there is also the Mississippi River for those who like quiet or just need to get away from all the noise.

UST has St Thomas Activities & Recreation (STAR) that holds events weekly (ie singers every Thursday). Most events on campus can get boring/repetitive and you lose interest in them.

There are always fun activities going on around campus or in your dorm! They show movies on campus, have a game room, a bowling alley, and around the holidays, resident life comes up with awesome festive activities!

Clubs are a great way to get involved. The University offers a great variety of clubs. From the Republican Club to the Scuba diving club, the choices are vast and endless. There's a place for beach volleyball, a pool to swim laps in, a beautiful hidden waterfall near campus, and a city bus stop to the cities. You can go adventure around downtown St.Paul or Minneapolis. There's plenty of big name and indie concerts to go to. The University also has a great program called STAR, that gives out discounted tickets and free trips. I went to a roller coaster park for only five dollars earlier this year. I would recommend taking advantage of the kitchens in the basement and starting a midnight breakfast club with your friends! Gather some friends up at midnight and whip up some pancakes or eggs. There are countless ways to find fun.

Football games can be a big deal around here. For a DIII school, sports, especially football and basketball, are a big deal. A LOT of the student population goes to the bar, at least 3 nights a week.

The student center, which aside from having almost all the food and sitting areas also has bowling and dancing in the basement, is open until 9pm on weekdays and 5pm on weekends. The O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library is open most days until 2am, There are more clubs and sports than I can count. And, if getting off campus is a must, there are various buses that run between the St. Paul private colleges as well as all around the Twin Cities metro area. You can do anything in the Twin Cities Metro area. Google it. Now. Go on Google maps, click directions, start at St. Thomas University on Summit Avenue, and set your destination to anything you want to do.
