    Visit! That couldn't be stressed enough. Also, research the program or programs you want to study, and see how the department is here. Researching the professors is another helpful resource. The reviews for the professors of my major influenced my decision because they were the best out of all the other schools I applied to.

    For prospective students, figuring out where you can get extra help on school work is something to figure out right off the bat. At the same time knowing your professors is extremely important. In a lecture of over 150 kids, I knew my professor personally through talking with him and going to office hours.
