    Campus Safety

Campus is remarkably safe. Well-lit, and night classes mean that many people are walking around. Windsor is one of the safest cities in all of Canada, and is a family-oriented city.

    Greek Life

    Multiple active sororities and fraternities.

    Clubs and Activities

Offers clubs, activities, and intramural sports for anyone and everyone!

Great for these types of students

Anyone and everyone who is willing to learn!

    Bang for the buck

International fees are waived for American students. Reasonably priced. Offers lots of scholarships. Windsor has one of the lowest costs of living in all of Canada.

    What to do for fun

Extra-curricular activities for anyone and everyone, intramural sports, and lots of places to go and things to do and see in Windsor and Detroit.

    Food and Dining

Offers a wide variety of food outlets and some well-known chains, but many of these do not offer their full menu and the hours are somewhat odd. Food itself is good. Healthy options abound. There are many close restaurants that are reasonably priced. Getting to and from a grocery store is not difficult.

    Dorm Life

I don't live in residence so cannot comment.

    Academic Rigor

This research-intensive university offers a student-centred learning experience and an academic challenge which will prepare you for anything after graduation.

    Tips for prospective students

Get to know what campus and the city of Windsor have to offer. Be open to new experiences, eager to get involved, and ready to learn!

    In three sentences

This school offers something for everyone. No matter who you are or where you come from, you will fit right at this diverse, dynamic school. Small-town feel with big-city amenities!

    What to do for fun

st denis centre watch the Lancers football, basketball, etc.

    Tips for prospective students

ask around before taking classes don't try to take 5 classes a semester to fast track, rather take a minimal amount and focus on those classes to get better marks

    In three sentences

PREPARES STUDENTS FOR POST GRAD IN THAT THERE IS MUCH EMPHASIS ON RESEARCH DURING UNDERGRAD NOT VERY PRACTICAL SO DOES NOT GIVE STUDENTS A FEEL OF WHAT THE REAL WORLD IS SOME PROFESSORS REALLY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TEACHING AND THIS REFERS TO THE ONES THAT ARE NEWLY HIRED OR SESSIONAL INSTRUCTORS WHO ARE FINISHING THEIR MA/PhD and is unfair to students who pay tuition to get a proper education
