Of course I am learning a lot, this school throws you enough required classes you have to take before getting into your major, so it is impossible to take any class and not learn a thing. What is different here, is that I don't just learn from professors but from my classmates who I study with or the discussion section that meets once a week for the class. » Read MoreI was shocked and impressed at the level of ability the faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Marathon County Campus had. Being interested in engineering, math, and the scientists it was really encouraging and confidence inspiring to have all of my instructors be young and approachable but all be very capable and knowledgeable, with PHDs and numerous other graduate degrees. For being so young, many of my professors have many fun, exciting, and impressive stories and experiences, whether it be working for NASA or developing products that improved current technology in numerous fields.

Being a community college, it is a great place for students to save money and get started on a degree. All of the staff are superb at their jobs, and a lot of great and interesting classes are offered.

The LSC/Trio is the place to go when are looking for a tutor, need to study, or just to ask questions about classes. I would recommend UW Rock County as a starting school for anyone who is planning to go to college.
